How to Fish the Zingaz Stickbait:
- Cast long and land near structure, bait schools, or surface activity.
The Zingaz is designed for distance and accuracy—get it into the strike zone. - Start with a steady retrieve or slow roll.
This creates a subtle swimming motion that mimics a cruising baitfish—great when fish are spooky or hesitant. - Use short stabs or downward rod twitches.
This produces a darting, walk-the-dog style action across the surface, imitating a fleeing or panicked baitfish. - Try a sweep-and-pause technique.
Sweep the rod to move the lure forward, then pause and let it sit—predators often strike on the stall. - Use a faster, erratic retrieve when fish are aggressive.
The Zingaz will dart and pop to trigger reaction bites from fired-up predators. - Adjust cadence and retrieve based on species and conditions.
Tuna may prefer a faster retrieve, while kingfish and GTs often strike on the pause.
