At Catch Fishing, we stand behind the gear we sell. Whether you’re chasing snapper off the rocks or jigging for kings from your kayak, we want your equipment performing at its best, every trip. That’s why we offer straightforward after-sales support and product warranty coverage to keep you fishing with confidence.

Warranty Coverage

Reels:
We offer a 1-year limited warranty on all fishing reels sold by Catch Fishing, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal recreational use.

Rods:
All rods purchased through Catch Fishing come with a 1-year limited warranty covering manufacturing faults and material defects.

These warranties apply from the date of purchase and are valid for the original purchaser only. They are in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law or New Zealand’s Consumer Guarantees Act.

What’s Covered

Our warranty covers:

• Manufacturing faults
• Defective materials
• Issues arising under normal use and proper care

If your product qualifies, we’ll either repair or replace it at no charge (excluding your shipping costs to and from our service centre).

What’s Not Covered

To help you better understand warranty exclusions, here are some common issues not covered:

• General wear and tear on parts like bearings, drag washers, or line rollers
• Damage caused by accidents, impact, or misuse
• Saltwater corrosion from lack of cleaning or maintenance
• Unauthorised repairs or modifications
• Products serviced by non-authorised technicians

How to Make a Warranty Claim

Start by visiting our Warranty Claim Page and filling out the form. You’ll need to include:

• A clear description of the issue
• Proof of purchase (receipt or order number)
• Photos (if applicable)
• Your name, address, and contact information

Once received, we’ll assess your claim and get back to you with next steps.
